    Romans 8 Chapter TLV

    Life in the Spirit

1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Messiah Yeshua.

2For the law of the Spirit of life in Messiah Yeshua has set you free from the law of sin and death.

3For what was impossible for the Torah—since it was weakened on account of the flesh—God has done. Sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as a sin offering, He condemned sin in the flesh—

4so that the requirement of the Torah might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Ruach.

5For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Ruach set their minds on the things of the Ruach.

6For the mindset of the flesh is death, but the mindset of the Ruach is life and shalom.

7For the mindset of the flesh is hostile toward God, for it does not submit itself to the law of God—for it cannot.

8So those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

9However, you are not in the flesh but in the Ruach—if indeed the Ruach Elohim dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Ruach of Messiah, he does not belong to Him.

10But if Messiah is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the Spirit is alive because of righteousness.

11And if the Ruach of the One who raised Yeshua from the dead dwells in you, the One who raised Messiah Yeshua from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Ruach who dwells in you.

12So then, brothers and sisters, we do not owe anything to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.

13For if you live according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Ruach you put to death the deeds of the body, you shall live.

14For all who are led by the Ruach Elohim, these are sons of God.

15For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall again into fear; rather, you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!"

16The Ruach Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.

17And if children, also heirs—heirs of God and joint-heirs with Messiah—if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

    The Coming Glory

18For I consider the sufferings of this present time not worthy to be compared with the coming glory to be revealed to us.

19For the creation eagerly awaits the revelation of the sons of God.

20For the creation was subjected to futility—not willingly but because of the One who subjected it—in hope

21that the creation itself also will be set free from bondage to decay into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

22For we know that the whole creation groans together and suffers birth pains until now—

23and not only creation, but even ourselves. We ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Ruach, groan inwardly as we eagerly wait for adoption—the redemption of our body.

24For in hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees?

25But if we hope for what we do not see, then we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

26In the same way, the Ruach helps in our weakness. For we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Ruach Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words.

27And He who searches the hearts knows the mind of the Ruach, because He intercedes for the kedoshim according to the will of God.

28Now we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose.

29For those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

30And those whom He predestined, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified; and those whom He justified, He also glorified.

31What then shall we say in view of these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

32He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how shall He not also with Him freely give us all things?

33Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.

34Who is the one who condemns? It is Messiah, who died, and moreover was raised, and is now at the right hand of God and who also intercedes for us.

35Who shall separate us from the love of Messiah? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?

36As it is written, "For Your sake we are being put to death all day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter."

37But in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,

39nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Messiah Yeshua our Lord.

  • YHWH/Yeshua/Torah: "Wells of Salvation"

Well of Salvation on John 4 and Isaiah 12

    Shalom!

After sunset, tonight is 18 Elul.

    YHWH/Yeshua/Torah:   "Wells of Salvation"

Mayim [Mem-Yud-Mem] in Hebrew means "water"

    John 4 Chapter TLV

    Yeshua Offers Living Water

1Now Yeshua knew that the Pharisees heard that He was making and immersing more disciples than John.

2(Although Yeshua Himself was not immersing, His disciples were.)

3So He left Judea and went back again to the Galilee.

4But He needed to pass through Samaria.

5So He comes to a Samaritan town called Shechem, near the plot of land that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

6Now Jacob’s well was there. So Yeshua, exhausted from the journey, was sitting by the well. It was midday.

7A Samaritan woman comes to draw water. "Give me a drink," Yeshua tells her,

8for His disciples had gone away to the town to buy food.

9Then the Samaritan woman tells Him, "How is it that You, a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan woman, for a drink?" (For Jewish people don’t deal with Samaritans.)

10Yeshua replied to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who is saying to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."

11"Sir," the woman tells Him, "You don’t have a bucket, and the well is deep. Then from where do You get this living water?

12You’re not greater than our father Jacob, are You? He gave us this well. He drank out of it himself, with his sons and his cattle."

13Yeshua replied to her, "Everyone who drinks from this water will get thirsty again.

14But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty. The water that I give him will become a fountain of water within him, springing up to eternal life!"

15"Sir," the woman tells Him, "give me this water, so I won’t get thirsty or have to come all the way here to draw water!"

16He tells her, "Go call your husband, and then come back here."

17"I don’t have a husband," the woman replied. Yeshua tells her, "You’ve said it right, ‘I have no husband.’

18For you’ve had five husbands, and the man you have now isn’t your husband. This you’ve spoken truthfully!"

19"Sir," the woman tells Him, "I see that You are a prophet!

20Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you all say that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem."

21Yeshua tells her, "Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.

22You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.

23But an hour is coming—it is here now—when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people as His worshipers.

24God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

25The woman tells Him, "I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called the Anointed One.) When He comes, He will explain everything to us."

26Yeshua tells her, "I—the One speaking to you—I am."

The above verse 26 show very beautiful. Amein?

    Ready for Harvest

27At this moment, His disciples came back. They were amazed that He was speaking with a woman. Yet no one said, "What do You want?" or "Why are You speaking with her?"

28So the woman left her water jar and went back to the town. She tells the people,

29"Come see a man who told me everything I ever did! He couldn’t be the Messiah, could He?"

30The people left the town and began coming to Him.

31Meanwhile, the disciples were pressing Him, "Rabbi, eat!"

32But He said to them, "I have food to eat that you know nothing about."

33So the disciples were saying to each other, "No one brought Him food to eat, did they?"

34Yeshua tells them, "My food is to do the will of the One who sent Me and to accomplish His work.

35Don’t you say, ‘Four more months, and then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields! They are white and ready for harvest.

36"The reaper receives a reward and gathers fruit for eternal life, so that the sower and reaper may rejoice together.

37For the saying is true, ‘One sows and another reaps.’

38I sent you to reap what you haven’t worked for. Others have worked hard, and you have joined in their work."

39Many of the Samaritans from that town put their trust in Him because of the word of the woman testifying, "He told me everything I ever did!"

40So when the Samaritans came to Him, they kept asking Him to stay with them. He stayed there two days,

41and many more believed because of His word.

42They kept telling the woman, "It’s no longer because of your words that we believe. We’ve heard for ourselves! Now we know that this really is the Savior of the world!"

    Life for a Dying Son

43After the two days, He went on from there into the Galilee.

44Now Yeshua Himself had testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country.

45But when He came into the Galilee, they welcomed Him. For they had seen all He had done at the feast in Jerusalem, since they also had gone up to celebrate.

46So He went again to Cana of the Galilee, where He had turned the water into wine. Now there was a nobleman whose son was sick in Capernaum.

47When he heard that Yeshua had come from Judea to the Galilee, he went to Him and begged Him to come down and heal his son; for he was about to die.

48Then Yeshua said to him, "Unless you all see signs and wonders, you’ll never believe!"

49The nobleman said to Him, "Sir, come down before my child dies!"

50Yeshua tells him, "Go! Your son lives!" The man believed the word that Yeshua said to him and started off.

51While on his way down, his servants met him, saying that his son was living.

52So he asked them the hour when the boy began to get better. They said, "The fever left him yesterday at about the seventh hour."

53Then the father realized that it was the same hour Yeshua said to him, "Your son lives!" Now he himself believed, along with his whole household.

54Yeshua did this as the second sign, after He had come again from Judea into the Galilee.

Isaiah 12 Chapter TLV "Wells of Salvation"

1In that day you will say: "I will give You thanks, Adonai, for though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me.

2Behold, God is my salvation! I will trust and will not be afraid. For the Lord Adonai is my strength and my song. He also has become my salvation."

3With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

4In that day you will say: "Give thanks to Adonai. Proclaim His Name! Declare His works to the peoples, so they remember His exalted Name.

5Sing to Adonai, for He has done gloriously. Let this be known in all the earth.

6Cry out and shout, inhabitant of Zion! For great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel."

Interesting about Isaiah 12: "Wells of Salvation"

God is my salvation! "El is my salvation!"

The above chapter show scripture verses 2-3 show very beautiful in order about salvation 3 times:

    Yeshua means YHWH is Salvation

*The Hebrew name of Y'shua....In Aramaic: Yeshua

*Remember Hebrew and Aramaic are "sisters"

Isaiah 12:   Please re-read and count "salvation" slowly on verse 2-3:

2Behold, God is my salvation [Yeshua]! I will trust and will not be afraid. For the Lord Adonai is my strength and my song. He also has become my salvation [Yeshua]."

3With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation [Yeshua].

The above verse 2-3 show the word "salvation" 3 times!

HalleluYAH!  Yeshua means YHWH is Salvation more deep anointing The Word [Yeshua] is the Living Water of YHWH.

Remember Yeshua (Son) never replaced Abba YHWH:

    Abba YHWH is Spirit (Ruach)

Son Yeshua means YHWH is Salvation

    Yeshua is YHWH (God)

    One Name

Acts 4:12 TLV: Yeshua means YHWH is Salvation

12There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved!"

    Acts 4 Chapter TLV

    Standing Before the Sanhedrin

1As Peter and John were speaking to the people, the kohanim and the captain of the Temple and the Sadducees came up to them.

2They were indignant because Peter and John were teaching the people and announcing in Yeshua the resurrection of the dead.

3So they grabbed them and put them in jail until the next day, for it was already evening.

4But many who heard the message believed, and the number of the men came to about five thousand.

5On the next day, the rulers and elders and Torah scholars were gathered together in Jerusalem.

6Annas the kohen gadol was there, and Caiaphas and John and Alexander, and all those who were of high-priestly descent.

7When they had placed Peter and John in their midst, they began to inquire, "By what power or in what name did you do this?"

8Then Peter, filled with the Ruach ha-Kodesh, said to them, "Rulers and elders of the people!

9If we are on trial today for a mitzvah done for a sick man, as to how this fellow was healed,

10let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Yeshua ha-Mashiach ha-Natzrati—whom you had crucified, whom God raised from the dead—this one stands before you whole.

11This Yeshua is ‘the stone—rejected by you, the builders—that has become the chief cornerstone.’

12There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved!"

13Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John and figured out they were laymen without training, they were amazed. They began to realize that these men had been with Yeshua.

14But seeing the healed man standing with them, they had nothing to say in response.

15When they had ordered Peter and John to go out of the council chamber, they began to confer with one another,

16saying, "What shall we do with these men? For indeed, it’s obvious to everyone living in Jerusalem that a remarkable miracle has happened through them, and we cannot deny it.

17But so it won’t spread any further among the people, let’s warn them not to speak anymore to anyone in this name."

18So they called them in and ordered them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Yeshua.

19But Peter and John replied, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you decide.

20For we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard."

21After threatening them again, they let them go—finding no way they could punish them on account of the people, because they all were glorifying God for what had happened.

22For the man in whom this miracle of healing had happened was more than forty years old.

    Prayer for Courage

23As soon as they were released, Peter and John went to their own people and reported all that the ruling kohanim and elders had said to them.

24When they heard it, they lifted their voices together to God and said, "O Sovereign Master, ‘You made heaven and earth and the sea, and everything in them.’

25You said by the Ruach ha-Kodesh, through the mouth of our father David Your servant, ‘Why did the nations rage and the peoples plot foolish things?

26The kings of the earth took their stand and the rulers were gathered together against Adonai and against His Anointed One.’

27"For truly both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together in this city against Your holy Servant Yeshua, whom You anointed.

28They did whatever Your hand and Your purpose predetermined to happen.

29And now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant Your servants to speak Your word with utmost courage—

30while You stretch out Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Your holy Servant Yeshua."

31When they had prayed, the place where they were gathered was shaken. And they were all filled with the Ruach ha-Kodesh and began to speak the word of God with boldness.

    Ruach-Filled Community Life

32Now the whole group of those who believed was one in heart and mind. No one would say anything he owned was his own, but they had everything in common.

33With great power the emissaries were giving witness to the resurrection of the Lord Yeshua, and abundant favor was upon them all.

34No one among them was needy, for all who were owners of lands or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds

35and set them at the feet of the emissaries. And the proceeds were distributed according to the need each one had.

36Now Joseph, also called Barnabas by the emissaries (which is translated Son of Encouragement), was a Levite and native of Cyprus.

37He sold a field that he owned and brought the money and laid it at the feet of the emissaries.

  • YHWH/Yeshua/Torah: Galilee

Boat at Sea of Galilee in 1 Century AD

At museum in Israel,  the boat discovered in Sea of Galilee - 1st Century AD.

HalleluYAH!  Tonight still is 17 Elul.

    Mark 1 Chapter TLV:

Mar 1:1 The beginning of the Good News of Yeshua ha-Mashiach, Ben-Elohim.

Mar 1:2 As Isaiah the prophet has written, "Behold, I send My messenger before You, who will prepare Your way.

Mar 1:3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way of Adonai, and make His paths straight.’"

Mar 1:4 John appeared, immersing in the wilderness, proclaiming an immersion involving repentance for the removal of sins.

Mar 1:5 All the Judean countryside was going out to him, and all the Jerusalemites. As they confessed their sins, they were being immersed by him in the Jordan River.

Mar 1:6 John wore clothes made from camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey.

Mar 1:7 "After me comes One who is mightier than I am," he proclaimed. "I’m not worthy to stoop down and untie the strap of His sandals!

Mar 1:8 I immersed you with water, but He will immerse you in the Ruach ha-Kodesh."

Mar 1:9 In those days, Yeshua came from Natzeret in the Galilee and was immersed by John in the Jordan.

Mar 1:10 Just as He was coming up out of the water, He saw the heavens ripping open and the Ruach as a dove coming down upon Him.

Mar 1:11 And there came a voice from the heavens: "You are My Son, whom I love; with You I am well pleased!"

Mar 1:12 That instant, the Ruach drives Him into the wilderness.

Mar 1:13 He was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by satan. And He was with the wild beasts, and the angels were taking care of Him.

Mar 1:14 Now after John was put in jail, Yeshua came into the Galilee, proclaiming the Good News of God.

Mar 1:15 "Now is the fullness of time," He said, "and the kingdom of God is near! Turn away from your sins, and believe in the Good News!"

Mar 1:16 Passing along by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Simon’s brother Andrew casting a net in the sea, for they were fishermen.

Mar 1:17 And Yeshua said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men."

Mar 1:18 Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.

Mar 1:19 Going a little farther, He saw Jacob the son of Zebedee and John his brother, who were in their boat mending the nets.

Mar 1:20 Immediately He called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired hands and followed Him.

Mar 1:21 And they went into Capernaum. Right away, on Shabbat, He entered the synagogue and began to teach.

Mar 1:22 And they were astounded at His teaching, for He was teaching them as one having authority and not as the Torah scholars.

Mar 1:23 Just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out,

Mar 1:24 "What have we to do with You, Yeshua of Natzeret? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are! You’re the Holy One of God!"

Mar 1:25 Yeshua rebuked him, saying, "Quiet! Come out of him!"

Mar 1:26 And the unclean spirit, after throwing the man into convulsions and crying out with a loud voice, came out of him.

Mar 1:27 They were all so amazed that they asked among themselves, "What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him!"

Mar 1:28 And immediately news about Him spread throughout the region surrounding Galilee.

Mar 1:29 As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with Jacob and John to the house of Simon and Andrew.

Mar 1:30 Now Simon’s mother-in-law was lying sick with a fever. Right away, they told Yeshua about her.

Mar 1:31 He came and raised her up by taking her hand. The fever left her, and she began to take care of them.

Mar 1:32 When evening came, at sunset, the people brought to Him all the sick and those who were afflicted by demons.

Mar 1:33 The whole town gathered together at the door.

Mar 1:34 He healed many who were sick with various diseases and drove out many demons. And He would not allow the demons to speak, because they knew who He was.

Mar 1:35 Very early, while it was still night, Yeshua got up, left, and went away to a place in the wilderness; and there He was praying.

Mar 1:36 Then Simon and those with him hunted for Yeshua.

Mar 1:37 And when they found Him, they said to Him, "Everybody’s looking for You."

Mar 1:38 He said to them, "Let’s go somewhere else, to the neighboring towns, so that I may proclaim the message there also—this is what I came for."

Mar 1:39 And He went throughout all the Galilee, proclaiming the message in their synagogues and driving out demons.

Mar 1:40 A man with tza’arat comes to Him, begging Him and falling on his knees, saying, "If You are willing, You can make me clean."

Mar 1:41 Moved with compassion, Yeshua stretched out His hand and touched him. He said, "I am willing. Be cleansed."

Mar 1:42 Immediately, the tza’arat left him, and he was cleansed.

Mar 1:43 Yeshua sent him away at once, sternly warning him.

Mar 1:44 He said to him, "See that you say nothing to anyone, but go show yourself to the kohen. Then, for your cleansing, offer what Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."

Mar 1:45 But he went out and began to proclaim and spread the word, so much that Yeshua could no longer enter a town openly but had to stay out in wilderness areas. Still, they kept on coming to Him from everywhere.

Andrew G. Roth: Torah Parsha #49: Ki Teze (When you go out).

Brit Chadasha (Renewed Covenant) Mark 1:1-14:

AYKH D’KTAVIT B’AYSHAYA NEVIYAH (1:2) = as it is written by the ProphetYeshayahu. Technically this is a double quote, echoed also by Malachi 3:1 as much as it quotes Isaiah 40:1-3. What is interesting is that “my messenger” is “Malachi” inHebrew, the same name/title as the other prophet.

BMIDBARA (1:3) = nearly the exact form of the Hebrew name for the book of Numbers, BEMIDBAR, in the wilderness. An interesting link between Moshe and the Immerser.

AYKH YONAH (1:10) = like a dove. This was the name of the prophet JONAH, so in a sense the Gospel of Yochanan has its own version of a sign of Jonah. It seems therefore fitting that we would have two signs named after this prophet, one at the beginning and the other regarding Y’shua’s death and resurrection.

W’ KALA HWA MEN SHMAYA: ANT HAW BERI HABIVA (1:11) = and a voice was (heard) from heaven: This is my beloved Son. The word HABIVA connotes a very special kind of loveextreme intimacy through and through. The Father knows every thought and detail behind the personality and emotions of His Son. The status also is heightened with Y’shua being His ONLY BEGOTTEN Son.

L’GALEELA MAKARAZ HWA SAVARTA (1:14) = from Galilee he preached the Good News. However it is interesting that the root for GALILEE is “to reveal” andthe word for “Gospel” or “Good News” (SEVARTA) can also mean “to preach” eventhough another word for “preach” is used here—KIRAZ/KARAZ. In Aramaic, the traditional name for “Gospel” is also KARAZUTHA—derived from KARAZwhich is to say the “Preaching of Matthew, Mark, etc.” At a deeper level one could say“from Revelation Y’shua Preached the Gospel”.

Also noting with interest that the “summary” form of the Temptation given in Mark 1, rather than proving Mark’s Gospel was written first, seems to prove the opposite. I say this because the summary would not make immediate sense to a reader unless that reader was also familiar with the fuller account in Matthew 4.

Remember YHWH/Yeshua/Torah {Word} cannot be separated.   I read Mark 14 Chapter very deep anointing about what happened inside the Temple:

Sanhedrin in Hebrew:  Beit Din (House of Judgment).  Some says "Bet Din ha-Gadol," or Great Sanhedrin at Temple in Jerusalem.   Mark 14:63 TLV is the powerful key for everyone read this:

    Mark 14:60-64 TLV

Mar 14:60 The kohen gadol stood up in the middle and questioned Yeshua, saying, "Do You have no answer? What is this they’re testifying against You?"

Mar 14:61 But keeping silent, Yeshua did not answer. Again the kohen gadol questioned Him, "Are you Mashiach, Son of the Blessed One?"

Mar 14:62 "I am," said Yeshua, "and you shall see ‘the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Powerful One,’ and ‘coming with the clouds of heaven’!"
The kohen gadol (high priest) tore Y'shua clothes:

Mar 14:63 Tearing his clothes, the kohen gadol says, "Why do we still need witnesses?

Mar 14:64 You’ve heard the blasphemy. What seems right to you?" Then all condemned Him as deserving death.

Leviticus 10:1-7:    ......Do not tear garments.....

Lev 10:1 Now Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu each took his own censer, put fire in it, laid incense over it, and offered unauthorized fire before Adonai—which He had not commanded them.

Lev 10:2 So fire came out from the presence of Adonai and consumed them. So they died before Adonai.

Lev 10:3 Then Moses said to Aaron, "This is what Adonai spoke of, saying: To those who are near Me I will show myself holy. Upon the faces of all the people I will be glorified." Then Aaron kept silent.

Lev 10:4 Then Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Aaron’s uncle Uzziel, and said to them, "Come near, carry your relatives away from the front of the Sanctuary to outside of the camp."

Lev 10:5 So they drew near and carried them, still in their tunics, outside of the camp, as Moses had said.

    Read slowly:

Lev 10:6 Then Moses said to Aaron, and to Eleazar and Ithamar his sons: "Do not uncover your heads or tear your clothes, so you may not die and He will not be angry with the entire congregation. But let your kinsmen—the whole house of Israel—mourn over the burning that Adonai has kindled.

Lev 10:7 You must not go out from the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, or you will die, for the anointing oil of Adonai is on you." So they acted according to the word of Moses.

Read slowly on Lev. 21:10-12 TLV:  ..... do not tear clothes....

Lev 21:10 "He who is the kohen gadol among his brothers, upon whose head the anointing oil is poured and is consecrated to put on the garments, is not to let the hair of his head hang loose or tear his clothes,

Lev 21:11 nor should he go near any dead person, defiling himself, even for his father or his mother.

Lev 21:12 He is not to go out of the Sanctuary or profane the Sanctuary of his God—for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him. I am Adonai.

    Mark 14:1-72 TLV

Mar 14:1 Now it was two days before Passover and the Feast of Matzah. The ruling kohanim and Torah scholars were searching for a way to grab Yeshua by stealth and kill Him.

Mar 14:2 "But not during the festival," they were saying, "so there won’t be a riot among the people."

Mar 14:3 And while Yeshua was in Bethany at the house of Simon ha-Metzora, reclining at the table, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive oil of pure nard. Breaking open the jar, she poured it over His head.

Mar 14:4 But some got angry and said among themselves, "Why was this fragrant oil wasted?

Mar 14:5 It could have been sold for over three hundred denarii, and the money given to the poor!" And they kept scolding her.

Mar 14:6 But Yeshua said, "Leave her alone. Why do you cause trouble for her? She’s done Me a mitzvah.

Mar 14:7 For you always have the poor with you, and you can do good for them whenever you want; but you won’t always have Me.

Mar 14:8 She did what she could—she came beforehand to anoint My body for burial.

Mar 14:9 Amen, I tell you, wherever the Good News is proclaimed in all the world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her."

Mar 14:10 Then Judah from Kriot, one of the Twelve, went out to the ruling kohanim to betray Yeshua to them.

Mar 14:11 They were delighted when they heard this and promised to give him money. And Judah began looking for a chance to hand Him over.

Mar 14:12 Now on the first day of matzah, when they were slaughtering the Passover lamb, Yeshua’s disciples say to Him, "Where do You want us to go and prepare for You to eat the Passover?"

Mar 14:13 He sends two of His disciples and tells them, "Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him,

Mar 14:14 and wherever he enters, tell the homeowner, ‘The Teacher says, "Where is My guest room, where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?"’

Mar 14:15 He will show you a large upper room, furnished and ready. Make preparations for us there."

Mar 14:16 The disciples went out, came to the city, and found just what Yeshua had told them. And they prepared the Passover.

Mar 14:17 When it was evening, He came with the Twelve.

Mar 14:18 As they were reclining and eating, Yeshua said, "Amen, I tell you, one of you who is eating with Me will betray Me."

Mar 14:19 They began to be sorrowful and to say to Him one by one, "I’m not the one, am I?"

Mar 14:20 He said to them, "It’s one of the Twelve, one who dips with Me in the bowl.

Mar 14:21 For the Son of Man indeed goes, just as it is written about Him; but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born!"

Mar 14:22 And while they were eating, He took matzah; and after He offered the bracha, He broke it and gave it to them and said, "Take; this is My body."

Mar 14:23 And He took a cup; and after giving thanks, He gave to them and they all drank from it.

Mar 14:24 And He said to them, "This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.

Mar 14:25 Amen, I tell you, I will never again drink of the fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God."

Mar 14:26 After singing the Hallel, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Mar 14:27 And Yeshua said to them, "You will all fall away, for it is written, ‘I will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’

Mar 14:28 But after I’m raised up, I will go before you to the Galilee."

Mar 14:29 Peter said to Him, "Even though all fall away, I won’t!"

Mar 14:30 And Yeshua said to him, "Amen, I tell you, today—this very night—before a rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times."

Mar 14:31 But Peter kept insisting exceedingly, "Even if I must die with You, I’ll never deny You!" And they all were saying the same.

Mar 14:32 Then they come to a place whose name is Gethsemane; and Yeshua says to His disciples, "Sit here while I pray."

Mar 14:33 He takes with Him Peter, Jacob, and John; and He began to be deeply distressed and troubled.

Mar 14:34 And He tells them, "My soul is deeply grieved, even to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch."

Mar 14:35 Going a little farther, He fell to the ground and began praying that if possible this hour might pass Him by.

Mar 14:36 And He was saying, "Abba, Father, all things are possible for You! Take this cup from Me! Yet not what I will, but what You will."

Mar 14:37 Then He comes and finds them sleeping; and He tells Peter, "Simon, you’re asleep? Couldn’t you keep watch for one hour?

Mar 14:38 Keep watching and praying, so that you do not enter into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."

Mar 14:39 Again He went away and prayed, saying the same words.

Mar 14:40 And again He came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy. They didn’t know what to answer Him.

Mar 14:41 And He comes the third time and says to them, "Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? Enough! The hour has come. Look, the Son of Man is being delivered into the hands of sinners.

Mar 14:42 Get up, let’s go! Look, My betrayer is near."

Mar 14:43 Right away, while Yeshua was still speaking, Judah comes up, one of the Twelve, and with him a crowd with swords and clubs, from the ruling kohanim, Torah scholars, and elders.

Mar 14:44 Now His betrayer had given them a signal, saying, "The One I kiss, He’s the One! Seize Him and lead Him away under guard."

Mar 14:45 As soon as Judah came, he drew near to Yeshua and said, "Rabbi!" and kissed Him.

Mar 14:46 Then they threw their hands on Yeshua and seized Him.

Mar 14:47 But one of the bystanders, drawing his sword, struck the servant of the kohen gadol and cut off his ear.

Mar 14:48 Yeshua said to them, "Have you come out with swords and clubs, to capture Me as you would against a revolutionary?

Mar 14:49 Every day I was with you in the Temple teaching, and you didn’t seize Me. But this is so that the Scriptures would be fulfilled."

Mar 14:50 And all fled, abandoning Him.

Mar 14:51 A certain young man was following Him, with nothing but a linen cloth around his body, and they grabbed him.

Mar 14:52 But he ran away naked, leaving behind the linen cloth.

Mar 14:53 Then they led Yeshua away to the kohen gadol. And all the ruling kohanim, elders, and Torah scholars gathered.

Mar 14:54 Peter had followed Him from a distance, right into the courtyard of the kohen gadol. He was sitting with the guards, warming himself by the fire.

"Bet Din ha-Gadol," or Great Sanhedrin at Temple in Jerusalem:

Mar 14:55 Now the ruling kohanim and all the Sanhedrin kept trying to get evidence against Yeshua so they could put Him to death, but they weren’t finding any.

Mar 14:56 Many were giving false testimony against Him, but their testimony wasn’t consistent.

Mar 14:57 Some stood up and began to give false testimony against Him, saying,

Mar 14:58 "We heard Him say, ‘I will destroy this Temple made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands.’"

Mar 14:59 Yet even then, their testimony didn’t agree.

    Read slowly:

Mar 14:60 The kohen gadol stood up in the middle and questioned Yeshua, saying, "Do You have no answer? What is this they’re testifying against You?"

Mar 14:61 But keeping silent, Yeshua did not answer. Again the kohen gadol questioned Him, "Are you Mashiach, Son of the Blessed One?"

Mar 14:62 "I am," said Yeshua, "and you shall see ‘the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Powerful One,’ and ‘coming with the clouds of heaven’!"

Mar 14:63 Tearing his clothes, the kohen gadol says, "Why do we still need witnesses?

Mar 14:64 You’ve heard the blasphemy. What seems right to you?" Then all condemned Him as deserving death.

Mar 14:65 Some began to spit on Him, to blindfold Him, and to beat Him with their fists, saying, "Prophesy!" Also the guards slapped Him around.

Mar 14:66 As Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the kohen gadol comes by.

Mar 14:67 Seeing Peter warming himself, she looked straight at him. "You also were with Yeshua of Natzeret," she says.

Mar 14:68 But he denied it, saying, "I don’t know or understand what you’re talking about!" Then he went outside to the gateway, and a rooster crowed.

Mar 14:69 Seeing him, the servant girl began again to tell the bystanders, "This is one of them."

Mar 14:70 But again he denied it. And a little while later, the bystanders were again saying to Peter, "Surely you’re one of them, for you’re also a Galilean."

Mar 14:71 But he began to curse himself and to swear an oath: "I do not know this Man you’re talking about!"

Mar 14:72 Right then, a rooster crowed a second time. Then Peter called to mind the word Yeshua had said to him: "Before a rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times." And he broke down and began to weep.

    Romans scourage: flagrum

Shalom!  Today is 16 Elul (August 30, 2015).   After sunset tonight is 17 Elul.

Want to share you all what I joyfully learned something new very deep anointing about this scripture verses.  It is all about Abba YHWH!

    Deut. 22:18 TLV

The elders of that city are to take the man and punish him.

    Deut.  25:1-3 TLV

1 “Suppose there is a dispute between people and they approach the court, the judges hear their case, and declare one righteous and the other guilty.

2 Now if the guilty one deserves to be flogged, the judge is to make him lie down and be flogged before him, with the number of lashes in proportion to his guilt.

3 He may strike him 40 times but no more. Otherwise he would beat him with too many a wound beyond these, and your brother would be degraded in your eyes.

Rav Shaul (Paul):   2 Corinthians 11:24 TLV about the Jewish leaders:

Five times from the Jewish leaders I received forty lashes minus one.

Read joyfully:   The key is the Romans:   The Romans lashed Y'shua had no limitations on the number of stripes.

Andrew G. Roth:  Torah Parsha # 49: Ki Teze (When you go out)

YASAR (22:18) = flog or whip, presumably with 39 lashes, which is the rabbinic fence to make sure never to go over the maximum Torah mandated 40 lashes, and Torah itself only puts 40 as a maximum and does not prohibit administering only 39 (Deuteronomy 25:1-3).

The details in this commandment also would extend past this historical moment in the text and link to earlier mechanisms in Torah to investigate adultery as well, such as the water of cursing given in Numbers 5, meaning a husband who falsely accuses his wife by that process could also face 39 lashes. It is an open question however, given the fact that 40 years separate Numbers 5 from Deuteronomy 22 and 25 if the lashes would have been applied in the years in between these separated procedures.

Also 2 Corinthians 11:24 has Paul tell us he was flogged 39 times on three separate occasions, and this is just one more in a whole series of examples where the NT tells us what aspects of the Oral Law were current in 1st century Israel.

And finally, I should also point out that the Romans, when flogging Y’shua, had no such limitations on the number of stripes they could administer.  A man condemned by the Sanhedrin would not likely get too many pleas in his behalf to not exceed the Torah limits.

ARBAIM YAKENU LO YOSEF (25:3) = Do not add more than 40 lashes. However, in practice Jewish law never allowed more than 39 lashes, since some read the command to mean that 40 was 1 too many. Others thought, to be absolutely sure, going to 39 minimized the risk of going to the 41st lash, which all agree would have been a violation.     Also see Paul talk about this in 2 Corinthians 11:24.

HalleluYAH!  Yes and I agree this above made sense because of that Roman after researched deep truth about some “heartless” official have (had) no mercy (compassion).

First read about the Romans Scourge Instrument:

This sketch depicts a Roman Flagrum which was designed to quickly remove the flesh from the body of a victim.

The Romans would, according to custom, scourge a condemned criminal before he was put to death. The Roman scourge, also called the "flagrum" or "flagellum" was a short whip made of two or three leather (ox-hide) thongs or ropes connected to a handle as in the sketch above. The leather thongs were knotted with a number of small pieces of metal, usually zinc and iron, attached at various intervals. Scourging would quickly remove the skin. According to history the punishment of a slave was particularly dreadful. The leather was knotted with bones, or heavy indented pieces of bronze.

Sometimes the Roman scourge contained a hook at the end and was given the terrifying name "scorpion." The criminal was made to stoop which would make deeper lashes from the shoulders to the waist. According to Jewish law (discipline of the synagogue) the number of stripes was forty less one (Deut. 25:3) and the rabbis reckoned 168 actions to be punished by scourging before the judges. Nevertheless, scourging among the Romans was a more severe form of punishment and there was no legal limit to the number of blows, as with the Jews. Deep lacerations, torn flesh, exposed muscles and excessive bleeding would leave the criminal "half-dead." Death was often the result of this cruel form of punishment though it was necessary to keep the criminal alive to be brought to public subjugation on the cross. The Centurion in charge would order the "lictors" to halt the flogging when the criminal was near death.

Remember YHWH/Yeshua/Torah cannot be separated.   Yeshua haMashiyach is the arm of Abba YHWH.  Isaiah 53:1-12 TLV

Isa 53:1  ‘Who has believed our report? To whom is the arm of Adonai revealed?

Isa 53:2  For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, like a root out of dry ground. He had no form or majesty that we should look at Him, nor beauty that we should desire Him.

Isa 53:3  He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief, One from whom people hide their faces. He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

Isa 53:4  Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our pains. Yet we esteemed Him stricken, struck by God, and afflicted.

Isa 53:5  But He was pierced because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities. The chastisement for our shalom was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

Isa 53:6  We all like sheep have gone astray. Each of us turned to his own way. So Adonai has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Isa 53:7  He was oppressed and He was afflicted yet He did not open His mouth. Like a lamb led to the slaughter, like a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He did not open His mouth.

Isa 53:8  Because of oppression and judgment He was taken away. As for His generation, who considered? For He was cut off from the land of the living, for the transgression of my people—the stroke was theirs

Isa 53:9  His grave was given with the wicked, and by a rich man in His death, though He had done no violence, nor was there any deceit in His mouth.

Isa 53:10  Yet it pleased Adonai to bruise Him. He caused Him to suffer. If He makes His soul a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, and the will of Adonai will succeed by His hand.

Isa 53:11  As a result of the anguish of His soul He will see it and be satisfied by His knowledge. The Righteous One, My Servant will make many righteous and He will bear their iniquities.

Isa 53:12  Therefore I will give Him a portion with the great, and He will divide the spoil with the mighty—because He poured out His soul to death, and was counted with transgressors. For He bore the sin of many, and interceded for the transgressors.

    Psalms 22:1-32 TLV

Psa 22:1  For the music director, on “The Doe of the Dawn,” a psalm of David.

Psa 22:2  My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? Distant from my salvation are the words of my groaning.

Psalms 22:   The above verse 2:   "Why have You forsaken me?" in Aramaic shows:  "Why have you spared me?"

AENT (Aramaic English New Testament) show in Aramaic:

Matthew 27:46. And about the ninth hour, Y'shua cried out with a loud voice and said, My El! My El! [Lemana shabakthani] Why have you spared me?

Please click the excellent article:  http://therefinersfire.org/forsaken_me.htm

Psa 22:3  O my God, I cried out by day, but You did not answer, by night, but there was no rest for me.

Psa 22:4  Yet You are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.

Psa 22:5  In You our fathers put their trust. They trusted, and You delivered them.

Psa 22:6  They cried to you and were delivered. In You they trusted, and were not disappointed.

Psa 22:7  Am I a worm, and not a man? Am I a scorn of men, despised by people?

Psa 22:8  All who see me mock me. They curl their lips, shaking their heads:

Psa 22:9  Rely on Adonai! Let Him deliver him! Let Him rescue him—since he delights in Him!”

Psa 22:10  Yet You brought me out of the womb, made me secure at my mother’s breasts.

Psa 22:11  From the womb I was cast on You—from my mother’s womb You have been my God.

Psa 22:12  Be not far from me! For trouble is near—there is no one to help.

Psa 22:13  Many bulls have surrounded me. Strong bulls of Bashan encircled me.

Psa 22:14  They open wide their mouths against me, like a tearing, roaring lion.

Psa 22:15  I am poured out like water, and all my bones are disjointed. My heart is like wax—melting within my innards.

Psa 22:16  My strength is dried up like a clay pot, my tongue clings to my jaws. You lay me in the dust of death.

Psa 22:17  For dogs have surrounded me. A band of evildoers has closed in on me. They pierced my hands and my feet.

Psa 22:18  I can count all my bones. They stare, they gape at me.

Psa 22:19  They divide my clothes among them, and cast lots for my garment.

Psa 22:20  But You, Adonai, be not far off! O my strength! Come quickly to my aid!

Psa 22:21  Deliver my soul from the sword—my only one from the power of the dog.

Psa 22:22  Save me from the lion’s mouth. From the horns of the wild oxen rescue me.

Psa 22:23  I will declare Your Name to my brothers. I will praise You amid the congregation.

Psa 22:24  You who fear Adonai, praise Him! All Jacob’s descendants, glorify Him! Revere Him, all you seed of Israel.

Psa 22:25  For He has not despised or disdained the suffering of the lowly one. Nor has He hidden His face from him, but when he cried to Him, He heard.

Psa 22:26  From You is my praise in the great assembly. I will fulfill my vows before those who fear Him.

Psa 22:27  Let the poor eat and be satisfied. Let them who seek after Him praise Adonai. May your hearts live forever!

Psa 22:28  All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to Adonai. All the families of the nations will bow down before You.

Psa 22:29  For the kingdom belongs to Adonai, and He rules over the nations.

Psa 22:30  All the rich of the earth will feast and worship. Everyone who goes down to the dust will kneel before Him—even the one who could not keep his own soul alive.

Psa 22:31  His posterity will serve him, telling the next generation about my Lord.

Psa 22:32  They will come and declare His righteousness to a people yet to be born—because He has done it!

Also very interesting about one of few excellent commentaries about “some heartless official”:

    Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown Commentary

    Deuteronomy 25:2-3

if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten — In judicial sentences, which awarded punishment short of capital, scourging, like the Egyptian bastinado, was the most common form in which they were executed. The Mosaic law, however, introduced two important restrictions; namely:

    (1) The punishment should be inflicted in presence of the judge instead of being inflicted in private by some heartless official;

    and

    (2) The maximum amount of it should be limited to forty stripes, instead of being awarded according to the arbitrary will or passion of the magistrate.

The Egyptian, like Turkish and Chinese rulers, often applied the stick till they caused death or lameness for life. Of what the scourge consisted at first we are not informed; but in later times, when the Jews were exceedingly scrupulous in adhering to the letter of the law and, for fear of miscalculation, were desirous of keeping within the prescribed limit, it was formed of three cords, terminating in leathern thongs, and thirteen strokes of this counted as thirty-nine stripes (2 Cor. 11:24).

May YHWH bless you seek His Torah/Word reveal your spiritual growing zealous walking like Yeshua is the Way, the Life, and the Truth no one comes to the Father except through me (Yeshua).  I pray you pray study meditate and share the good news of the Sweet Word of YHWH thru His Sweet Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit) and take heed sweet voice of YHWH in the Miighty Name of Yeshua haMashiyach Amein!

    Today is 12 Elul:
    Psalms 86 Chapter TLV
Slow to Anger, Full of Chesed
1A prayer of David. Turn Your ear, Adonai, and answer me, for I am weak and needy.
2Watch over my soul, for I am godly. You are my God— save Your servant who trusts in You.
3Be gracious to me, my Lord, for to You I cry all day.
4Gladden the soul of Your servant, for to You, my Lord, I lift up my soul.
5For You, my Lord, are good, and ready to forgive and full of mercy to all who call upon You.

7In the day of my trouble I call upon You, for You will answer me.
8There is none like You among the gods, my Lord, there are no deeds like Yours.
9All nations You have made will come and bow down before You, my Lord, and they will glorify Your Name.
10For You are great, and do wonders— You alone are God.
11Teach me Your way, Adonai, that I may walk in Your truth. Give me an undivided heart to fear Your Name.
12I praise You, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and glorify Your Name forever.
13For great is Your lovingkindness toward me. You have delivered my soul from the lowest part of Sheol.
14God, the proud have risen up against me and a gang of ruthless people have sought my life, and have not set You before them.
15But You, my Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, full of love and truth.
16Turn to me and be gracious to me. Give Your strength to Your servant, and save the son of Your maidservant.
17Make me a sign for good, so that those who hate me may see it and be ashamed. For You, Adonai, have helped me and comforted me.

    Psalms 141 Chapter TLV
    Evening Petition for Protection
1A psalm of David. Adonai, I call to You— come quickly to me! Hear my voice when I call to You.
2May my prayer be set before You like incense. May the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.
3Set a guard, Adonai, over my mouth. Keep watch over the door of my lips.
4Let not my heart turn to any evil thing, to practice deeds of wickedness with men that work iniquity, nor let me eat of their delicacies.
5Let the righteous strike me— it is kindness. Let him correct me— it is oil on my head —my head will not refuse it. Yet still my prayer is against their wickedness.
6Their judges are thrown down from a cliff. Then they will hear my words, since they are sweet.
7As when one plows and breaks open the earth, so our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.
8For my eyes are toward You, God my Lord. In You I have taken refuge— do not expose my soul.
9Keep me from the jaws of the trap they have laid for me, and from the snares of the evildoers.
10Let the wicked fall into their own nets, while I pass by safely.

Sweet Spiritual Relationship Bond with Abba YHWH!

Psalms 139 TLV How Precious Your Thoughts!

1For the music director: a psalm of David. Adonai, You searched me and know me.

2Whenever I sit down or stand up, You know it. You discern my thinking from afar.

3You observe my journeying and my resting and You are familiar with all my ways.

4Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, Adonai, You know all about it.

5You hemmed me in behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me.

6Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.

7Where can I go from Your Ruach? Where can I flee from Your presence?

8If I go up to heaven, You are there, and if I make my bed in Sheol, look, You are there too.

9If I take the wings of the dawn and settle on the other side of the sea,

10even there Your hand will lead me, and Your right hand will lay hold of me.

11If I say: “Surely darkness covers me, night keeps light at a distance from me,”

12even darkness is not dark for You, and night is as bright as day— darkness and light are alike.

13For You have created my conscience. You knit me together in my mother’s womb.

14I praise You, for I am awesomely, wonderfully made! Wonderful are Your works— and my soul knows that very well.

15My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

16Your eyes saw me when I was unformed, and in Your book were written the days that were formed— when not one of them had come to be.

17How precious are Your thoughts, O God! How great is the sum of them!

18Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand! When I awake, I am still with You.

19If only You would slay the wicked, O God! Away from me, you bloody men!

20For they speak about You with wicked intent. Your enemies reproach You in vain.

21Do I not hate those who hate You, Adonai? Do I not loathe those who rise against You?

22I hate them with total hatred— I consider them my enemies.

23Search me, O God, and know my heart. Examine me, and know my anxious thoughts,

24and see if there be any offensive way within me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

  • YHWH/Yeshua/Torah: Mashiyach (Mashiach) = Messiah

    Mashiyach in Isaiah 53

Shalom!   Today is 10 Elul.   Remember, YHWH/Yeshua/Torah cannot be separated.

    Isaiah 53:1TLV

Who has believed our report? To whom is the arm of Adonai [YHWH] revealed?

    Isaiah 53:1 refers John 12:37-38

John 12:35-50 TLV Choose Either the Light or the Darkness

35Therefore Yeshua said to them, “The light is with you for a little longer. Walk while you have the light, so that the darkness will not overtake you. The one who walks in darkness doesn’t know where he is going.

    Read slow

36While you have the light, believe in the light so that you may become sons of light.” Yeshua spoke these things, then left and hid Himself from them.

37But even though He had performed so many signs before them, they weren’t trusting in Him.

38This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet, who said, “Adonai, who has believed our report? To whom has the arm of Adonai been revealed?”

39For this reason they could not believe, for Isaiah also said,

40“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so they might not see with their eyes nor understand with their hearts and turn back, and I would heal them.”

41Isaiah said these things because he saw His glory and spoke of Him.

     42Nevertheless many, even among the leaders, put their trust in Him. But because of the Pharisees, they were not confessing Yeshua, so they would not be thrown out of the synagogue;

43for they loved the glory of men more than the glory of God.

44Yeshua cried out, “Whoever puts trust in Me believes not in Me but in the One who sent Me!

45And whoever beholds Me beholds the One who sent Me.

46As light I have come into the world, so that everyone who trusts in Me should not remain in darkness.

47“If anyone hears My words but doesn’t keep them, I do not judge him; for I came to save the world, not to judge the world.

48The one who rejects Me and doesn’t receive My words has a judge; the word I spoke will judge him on the last day.

49For I did not speak on My own, but the Father Himself who sent Me has commanded Me what to say and speak.

50And I know that His commandment is life everlasting. Therefore what I say, I say just as the Father has told Me.

    Very interesting about Deut 30:6:

    ואֶת-לְבַבאת-לְבבְָ | Et L 'vavcha V'et L 'vav

Your heart and the heart [of your descendants]…

And the LORD [YHWH] your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your offspring, to love the LORD [YHWH] thy God with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live (Deut. 30:6).

Teshuvah* (usually translated, Repentance). And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your offspring (Deut. 30:6).

Footnote: *Teshuvah, usually translated as “Repentance” comes from the Hebrew root, Sh.U.V., ( שׁ. ו. ב ) meaning “to Return.”

    Continually Deut 30:4-20 TLV

4Even if your outcasts are at the ends of the heavens, from there Adonai your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you.

5Adonai your God will bring you into the land that your fathers possessed, and you will possess it; and He will do you good and multiply you more than your fathers.

6Also Adonai your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants—to love Adonai your God with all your heart and with all your soul, in order that you may live.

7“Adonai your God will put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you.

8Then you—you will return and listen to the voice of Adonai and do all His mitzvot that I am commanding you today.

9Adonai your God will make you prosper in all the work of your hand—in the fruit of your womb, and the offspring of your livestock, and the produce of your soil—for good. For Adonai will again rejoice over you for good, as He rejoiced over your fathers—

10when you listen to the voice of Adonai your God, to keep His mitzvot and His statutes that are written in this scroll of the Torah, when you turn to Adonai your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

11“For this mitzvah that I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it far off.

12It is not in the heavens, that you should say, ‘Who will go up for us to the heavens and get it for us, and have us hear it so we may do it?’

13Nor is it across the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will cross over for us to the other side of the sea and get it for us, and have us hear it so we may do it?’

14No, the word is very near to you—in your mouth and in your heart, to do it.

15“See, I have set before you today life and good, and death and evil.

16What I am commanding you today is to love Adonai your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His mitzvot, statutes and ordinances. Then you will live and multiply, and Adonai your God will bless you in the land you are going in to possess.

17But if your heart turns away and you do not listen, but are drawn away and bow down to other gods and worship them,

18I tell you today that you will certainly perish! You will not prolong your days on the land, where you are about to cross over the Jordan to go in to possess.

19“I call the heavens and the earth to witness about you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore choose life so that you and your descendants may live,

20by loving Adonai your God, listening to His voice, and clinging to Him. For He is your life and the length of your days, that you may dwell on the land that Adonai swore to your fathers—to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob—to give them.

May YHWH bless you. Shavua Tov!
