  • YHWH/Yeshua: Psalms 111

1 Halleluyah! I will wholeheartedly give thanks to ADONAI in the council of the upright and in the assembly.
2 The deeds of ADONAI are great, greatly desired by all who enjoy them.
3 His work is full of majesty and splendor, and his righteousness continues forever.
4 He has gained renown for his wonders. ADONAI is merciful and compassionate.
5 He gives food to those who fear him. He remembers his covenant forever.
6 He shows his people how powerfully he works by giving them the nations as their heritage.
7 The works of his hands are truth and justice; all his precepts can be trusted.
8 They have been established forever and ever, to be carried out truly and honestly.
9 He sent redemption to his people and decreed that his covenant should last forever. His name is holy and fearsome
10 the first and foremost point of wisdom is the fear of ADONAI; all those living by it gain good common sense. His praise stands forever.

  • YHWH/Yeshua: Hermit crab

    Shabbat Shalom!

Two are better than the one, for they enjoy a better reward for their toil. For if one falls, his companion may help him up. But pity the one who falls and there is no one to help him up. Also if two lie together, they can keep each other warm. But how can one person be warm? Although an assailant may overpower one person, two may withstand him. A threefold cord is not easily broken! (‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭4‬:‭9-12‬ LEB)

Two are better than one because they have a sachar tov for their amal. For if they fall, the echad will lift up his partner, but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Also, if two lie down, then they have chom (heat), but how can one be warm alone? Though echad may be overpowered, shnayim shall withstand him; and a khoot hameshulash (threefold cord) is not quickly broken. (‭Kohelet‬ ‭4‬:‭9-12‬ OJB)

  • YHWH/Yeshua: Butterfly Transformation

    Butterfly Transformation

    Psalms 27 Chapter:  Of David.

    A Declaration of Trust

1 Yahweh [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? Yahweh [is] the refuge of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

2 When evildoers drew near against me to eat my flesh-- my adversaries and my enemies [who drew near] to me-- they themselves stumbled and fell.

3 Though an army encamp against me, my heart will not fear. Though war arise against me, [even] in this I [will] remain confident.

4 One [thing] I have asked from Yahweh; it I will seek: [that] I may dwell in the house of Yahweh all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of Yahweh, and to consider his temple.

5 Because he will hide me in his shelter in [the] day of trouble. He will conceal me in the hiding place of his tent. He will set me high upon a rock.

6 And now my head will be high over my enemies round about me. And I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy. I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to Yahweh.

7 Hear, O Yahweh, my voice [when] I call, and be gracious to me and answer me.

8 On your behalf my heart says, "Seek my face." Your face, O Yahweh, I do seek.

9 Do not hide your face from me; do not turn your servant away in anger. You have been my help; do not abandon nor forsake me, O God of my salvation.

10 If my father or my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will receive me.

11 Teach me, O Yahweh, your way, and lead me on a level path because of my enemies.

12 Do not give me over to the desire of my enemies, because false witnesses have arisen against me, and [each] breathing out violence.

13 Surely I believe [that I will] see the goodness of Yahweh in [the] land of [the] living.

14 Wait for Yahweh. Be strong and let your heart show strength, and wait for Yahweh.

I learn scripture verses about YHWH and His Feasts.

Update about The Refiner’s Fire Website about The Feasts of YHWH:

The Fall Festivals are coming up! Sunset, August 25th, kicks off the first day of the 40 days of T'shuvah (Days of Turning and Repentance) in preparation for Yom Kippur (which starts at sunset on October 3 this year). The Forty Days of T'shuva begins each year on the first day of the Hebrew month of Elul, and continues on through the first ten days of the Hebrew month Tishri (known as the Days of Awe) culminating with the Day of Atonement on the 10th day of Tishri. It is a time to allow the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) to lead us in searching our hearts, so we can repent and confess our sins before YHWH and man; and if necessary, make restitution before the Day of Atonement arrives.

Jewish tradition has it that that Moshe went up Mt. Sinai on 1 Elul, and 40 days later the golden calf fiasco happened on 10 Tishri.

In a nutshell, these are the Fall holy days to take off from work:

1 Tishri (Feast of Trumpets), begins at sunset on September 24th, so all day September 25 is a High Holy day; take the day off work.

10 Tishri (Yom Kippur) begins at sunset on on October 3. October 4, the weekly Shabbat, is Yom Kippur; take the day off. (Yom Kippur is also a fast, so do not eat from just before sunset on October 3, till after sunset on October 4.)

Tishri 15-22 (Sukkot) has two High Holy days. October 9 through October 16. October 8 at Sunset, begins the first day - so 9 October is a day to take off work. Then the 8th day - 16 October (begins at sunset on 15 October), so take 16 October off. For more info about YHWH's Appointed Times please see our article.

High Holy Days to plan for in 2014:

Please note we use the calendar published by Andrew Gabriel Roth; not the traditional Jewish calendar. [Clicking link will download the calendar.] (See basic explanation here.) In the table below, if the traditional calendar date differed from ours, the "Traditional" column would reflect that date. (Note also this table is designed for display in HTML and will not display properly as text alone.)

Exodus 34:28-35:  Moshe was with YHWH 40 days and 40 nights:  When?

On 1 Elul!   Yes and 1 Elul toward Yom Kippur [10 Tishri] total 40 days and 40 nights.  HalleluYAH!

The Shining Face of Moses [Moshe]

28 And he [Moshe] was there with Yahweh forty days and forty nights. He ate no food and drank no water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten words.

29 {And} when Moses came down from Mount Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony [were] in the hand of Moses at his coming down from the mountain; and Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone because of his speaking with him.

30 And Aaron and all the {Israelites} saw Moses, and, {to their amazement}, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid of coming near to him.

31 And Moses called to them, and Aaron and all the leaders of the community returned to him, and Moses spoke to them.

32 And afterward all the {Israelites} came near, and he commanded them all that Yahweh had spoken with him on Mount Sinai.

33 And Moses finished speaking with them, and he put a veil on his face.

34 And when Moses came before Yahweh to speak with him, he would remove the veil until he went out, and he would go out and would speak to the {Israelites} what he had been commanded.

35 And the {Israelites} would see the face of Moses, that the skin of the face of Moses shone, and Moses would put back the veil on his face until his coming to speak with him.

  • YHWH/Yeshua: blessings and curses

New update about the blessings and the curses on Parashah 47 reading very anointing:

“See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God that I am commanding you today, and the curse, if you do not listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, but rather you turn from the way that I am commanding you today to go after other gods that you have not known. “And it will happen that when Yahweh your God has brought you to the land that you are going to, to take possession of it, then you shall pronounce the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal. (Are they not beyond the Jordan, toward the west, in the land of the Canaanites living in the Jordan Valley, opposite Gilgal beside the terebinth of Moreh?) For you are now about to cross the Jordan to go to take possession of the land that Yahweh, your God, is giving to you, and you will take possession of it and live in it, and you must diligently observe all the rules and the regulations that I am setting before you today.” (Deuteronomy 11:26-32 LEB)

What is curses meaning to you?

Let's read repeat one of verses:
and the curse, if you do not listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, but rather you turn from the way that I am commanding you today to go after other gods that you have not known. (Deuteronomy 11:28 LEB)

The above shows.......you have NOT known:
yadatem known - OT:3045 gsh yada` (yaw-dah'); a primitive root; to know (properly, to ascertain by seeing); used in a great variety of senses, figuratively, literally, euphemistically and inferentially (including observation, care, recognition; and causatively, instruction, designation, punishment, etc.) often sexually. <---LQQK

    The blessings on Mount Gerizim
About one mile to the west of Shechem, currently known as Jebel et-Tor, 2849 feet high.

    The curses on Mount Ebal
Or Eival. A mountain 3077 feet high (the highest point in Samaria), some two miles north-east of Mount Gerizim (cf. Ramban).

  • YHWH/Yeshua: Deuteronomy 11:12-13

Wow!!!!! I now read Parashah 47 very anointing scripture verses especially Hebrew Transliteration last week Parashah 46 Ekev

    First read Deuteronomy [Devarim] 11:10-25

    A Demanding Land
11:10 The land which you are about to occupy is not like Egypt, the place you left, where you could plant your seed and irrigate it by yourself, just like a vegetable garden.
11:11 But the land which you are crossing to occupy is a land of mountains and valleys, which can be irrigated only by the rain.
11:12 It is therefore a land constantly under God your Lord's scrutiny; the eyes of God your Lord are on it at all times, from the beginning of the year until the end of the year.

    Yoke of the Commandments
11:13 If you are careful to pay heed to my commandments, which I am prescribing to you today, and if you love God your Lord with all your heart and soul, [then God has made this promise]:

11:14 'I will grant the fall and spring rains in your land at their proper time, so that you will have an ample harvest of grain, oil and wine.
11:15 I will grant forage in your fields for your animals, and you will eat and be satisfied.'
11:16 Be careful that your heart not be tempted to go astray and worship other gods, bowing down to them.
11:17 God's anger will then be directed against you, and He will lock up the skies so that there will not be any rain. The land will not give forth its crops, and you will rapidly vanish from the good land that God is giving you.
11:18 Place these words of mine on your heart and soul. Bind them as a sign on your arm, and let them be an insignia in the center of your head.
11:19 Teach your children to speak of them, when you are at home, when traveling on the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
11:20 [Also] write them on [parchments affixed to] the doorposts of your houses and gates.
11:21 [If you do this,] you and your children will long endure on the land that God swore to your ancestors, [promising that] He would give it to them as long as the heavens are above the earth.

    Promise of Victory
11:22 If you carefully safeguard and keep this entire Mandate that I prescribe to you today, [and if you] love God, walk in all His ways, and cling to Him,
11:23 then God will drive out all these nations before you. You will expel nations that are greater and stronger than you are.
11:24 Every area upon which your feet tread shall belong to you. Your boundaries shall extend from the desert to the Lebanon, from a tributary of the Euphrates River as far as the Mediterranean Sea.
11:25 No man will stand up before you. God your Lord will place the fear and dread of you upon the entire area you tread, just as He promised you.

Akhi Andrew G. Roth teach Parashah 47: Re'eh

Where do we see solid evidence in this Torah portion that the old fall to fall calendar did not completely go away and that what we think of as a modern rabbinic title for an important feast is actually strongly hinted at in the Torah?

MERESHIT HASHANA VE’AD ACHARIT HA SHANA (11:12) = from the
beginning of the year to the end of the year. This is probably going fall to fall, with the thinly veiled allusion to ROSH HASHANNA.

This is because of 11:13 also which reads “If you will obey My commandments that I command to you today to love YHWH with all your heart and soul and strength”.

It was customary even by direct reference in the Torah for the entire Torah to be read in the 7th month of Tishri. This was confirmed by Ezra and others post captivity as well. The “early and late rains” (also 11:14) refer to a fall to fall cycle. Growing season in Israel was in the winter months, first harvest in the spring.

This is evidence that the old Tishri to Tishri calendar didn’t completely go away after Exodus 12:1-2 instituted the new system. The rabbis remember this and have kept that old system in place as the civil year.

HalleluYAH! Tishri is in Bereishit [Genesis] aka "Beginning of ......"
