Carmen Welker (on her post):
Did you notice that today’s Torah portion touched on a subject I broached a few weeks ago – about how the priests (mere men) used to make atonement for the sins of others? Some try to argue that a man cannot make atonement for another, and therefore, Yeshua is a fraud. Well, that’s absolutely FALSE, because Torah reveals otherwise! Take a look:
Exodus 28: 36 "You are to make an ornament of pure gold and engrave on it as on a seal, 'Set apart for ADONAI.' 37 Fasten it to the turban with a blue cord, on the front of the turban, 38 over Aharon's forehead. Because Aharon bears the guilt for any errors committed by the people of Isra'el in consecrating their holy gifts, this ornament is always to be on his forehead, so that the gifts for ADONAI will be accepted by him.
Leviticus 6:25 "Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, 'This is the law of the sin offering: in the place where the burnt offering is slain the sin offering shall be slain before the LORD; it is most holy. 26'The priest who offers it for sin shall eat it. It shall be eaten in a holy place, in the court of the tent of meeting. 27'Anyone who touches its flesh will become consecrated; and when any of its blood splashes on a garment, in a holy place you shall wash what was splashed on.…
Leviticus 10: 16 Then Moshe carefully investigated what had happened to the goat of the sin offering and discovered that it had been burned up. He became angry with El'azar and Itamar, the remaining sons of Aharon, and asked, 17 "Why didn't you eat the sin offering in the area of the sanctuary, since it is especially holy? He gave it to you to take away the guilt of the community, to make atonement for them before ADONAI.
And there you have it – PROOF that Torah DID allow men to atone for men! (Oh, and by the way, Yeshua who was NOT just a "mere man" MARTYRED himself … against which there is NO Torah prohibition. See the story of Isaac’s near-sacrifice.)

This scripture verses are referring Leviticus 1:11:
Lev 1:10 "If his gift for a burnt offering is from the flock, from the sheep or goats, he shall bring a male without blemish,
Please read:
Lev 1:11 and he shall kill it on the north side of the altar before the LORD [YHWH], and Aaron's sons the priests shall throw its blood against the sides of the altar.
Lev 1:12 And he shall cut it into pieces, with its head and its fat, and the priest shall arrange them on the wood that is on the fire on the altar,
Lev 1:13 but the entrails and the legs he shall wash with water. And the priest shall offer all of it and burn it on the altar; it is a burnt offering, a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the LORD [YHWH].
The above verse 11 shows ..... on the north side of the altar before YHWH....
Interesting! The bottom line is on Psalms 48 Chapter:

Oaths
Mat 5:33 "Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform to the Lord what you have sworn.'
Mat 5:34 But I say to you, Do not take an oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God,
Please read:

Mat 5:36 And do not take an oath by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black.
Mat 5:37 Let what you say be simply 'Yes' or 'No'; anything more than this comes from evil.

Yes and this proofs Yeshua haMashiyach Himself Pesach Lamb Offering was crucified on Mount Calvary, which was on the northwest side of Jerusalem; as by the Jews' tradition, the morning sacrifice was killed at the northwest horn of the altar (h):

Luke 22:44-49
44And he [Yeshua/YHWH] said to them [followers], "These are the words that I spoke with you when I was with you, that everything that is written about me in The Law [Torah] of Moses and in The Prophets and in The Psalms must be fulfilled." <------LQQK
45Then he opened their mind to understand the scriptures. 46And he said to them, "Thus it is written: and thus it was right for The Messiah to suffer and to arise from the grave the third day, 47And that conversion to the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in his name in all the nations, and the beginning would be at Jerusalem. 48And you are witnesses of these things. 49And I shall send upon you The Promise of my Father; but you stay in the city of Jerusalem until you shall be clothed in power from on high."
