emissary: Literally, apostle....the bottom line is YHWH's "sent one".
emissaries (plural): YHWH's "sent ones"

In Aramaic: Shaliach/Apostle (English) is singular. Shlichim (plural) in Aramaic: "sent ones"

Romans 1:1-7 AENT 
1. PAUL, a servant of Y'shua the Mashiyach, called and sent and separated to the Good News of Elohim.
2. (That) He (Elohim) had before promised, by His prophets, in the Set Apart Scriptures,
3. Concerning his Son who was born in the flesh, of seed of the house of David,
4. And was made known as the Son of Elohim by power, and by the Ruach haKodesh, who arose from the dead, Y'shua the Mashiyach, our Master,
5. By whom we have received grace and a mission among all the Gentiles to the end that they may obey the faith in His Name,
6. Among whom, you also are called by Y'shua the Mashiyach;
7. To all those who are at Rome, beloved of Elohim, called and sanctified: Peace and grace be with you, from Elohim our Father, and from our Master Y'shua the Mashiyach.

Acts 26:12-18 Paul Tells of His Conversion
Act 26:12 “While thus engaged, as I was journeying to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,
Act 26:13 at midday along the highway, O sovereign, I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me.
Act 26:14 “And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me, and saying in the Heḇrew language,1 ‘Sha’ul, Sha’ul, why do you persecute Me? It is hard for you to kick against the prods.’ Footnote: 1See 21:40, 22:2.

Moses: YHWH's "sent one" on Exodus 3:14 TLV

"God answered Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." Then He said, "You are to say to Bnei-Yisrael, "I AM" has sent me to you."
