Spend time with YHWH Everlasting Father
Shabbat Shalom Mischpocha!
Interesting! Want to share with you all.
Compare KJV and Complete Jewish Bible. ok?
(KJV) Romans 10:4 ForG1063 ChristG5547 is the endG5056 of the lawG3551 forG1519 righteousnessG1343 to every oneG3956 that believeth.G4100
(CJB) Romans 10:4 For the goal at which the Torah aims is the Messiah, who offers righteousness to everyone who trusts.
*Remember KJV the word: the end means goal, aims, to set for a definite point according G5056 in ESword*
G5056
τέλος
telos
tel'-os
From a primary word τέλλω tellō (to set out for a definite point or goal); properly the point aimed at as a limit, that is, (by implication) the conclusion of an act or state (termination [literally, figuratively or indefinitely], result [immediate, ultimate or prophetic], purpose); specifically an impost or levy (as paid): - + continual, custom, end (-ing), finally, uttermost. Compare G5411.
Ok, let's go back on Romans 10:4: Notice the KJV strong word G4100:
that believeth (trusts):
G4100
πιστεύω
pisteuō
pist-yoo'-o
From G4102; to have faith (in, upon, or with respect to, a person or thing), that is, credit; by implication to entrust (especially one’s spiritual well being to Christ): - believe (-r), commit (to trust), put in trust with.
G4102
πίστις
pistis
pis'-tis
From G3982; persuasion, that is, credence; moral conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God or a religious teacher), especially reliance upon Christ for salvation; abstractly constancy in such profession; by extension the system of religious (Gospel) truth itself: - assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity.
G3982
πείθω
peithō
pi'-tho
A primary verb; to convince (by argument, true or false); by analogy to pacify or conciliate (by other fair means); reflexively or passively to assent (to evidence or authority), to rely (by inward certainty): - agree, assure, believe, have confidence, be (wax) content, make friend, obey, persuade, trust, yield.
HalleluYAH! Notice the above primary verb: pinpoint: make friend.
The bottom line is Avraham: he was called the Friend of YHWH. He obeyed, agreed, had confidence, trusted, assured, and made friend with YHWH Everlasting Father. HalleluYAH!
James 2:22-24 (CJB):
22 You see that his faith worked with his actions; by the actions the faith was made complete; 23 and the passage of the Tanakh was fulfilled which says, "Avraham had faith in God, and it was credited to his account as righteousness." He was even called God's friend. 24 You see that a person is declared righteous because of actions and not because of faith alone.
Study rejoicefully scripture verses:
Genesis 15:6 "righteousness"
Exodus 33:11 "friend"
Job 16:21 "friend (neighbor)"
2 Chronicles 20:7 "friend"
Isaiah 41:8 "friend"
John 15:13-15 "friend"
Romans 4:3-25 "righteousness"
Galatians 3:6 "righteousness"
